RIAC’s advocacy service is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities to assert their rights and make their voices heard. We approach every advocacy case with empathy and determination, ensuring that your rights are respected and your needs are met.
Our services include:
- Individual advocacy: Personalised support to address specific challenges in areas like, services access, education, and healthcare.
- Systemic advocacy: Working to influence broader policies and practices for the betterment of the disability community.
- Self-Advocacy support: Equipping individuals with the knowledge and confidence to advocate for themselves.
Our Advocacy service is available across the Local Government Areas of Balranald, Bendigo, Buloke, Capaspe, Geelong, Goldfields, Gannawarra, Hindmarsh, Loddon, Macedon, Mildura, Mitchell, Moira, Mount Alexander, Murrindindi, Queenscliffe, Shepparton, Strathbogie, Swan Hill, Wentworth, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack.
