As RIAC’s Ambassador, Carol Cooke, a celebrated Australian Paralympic Gold Medallist in Cycling, is a beacon of hope and strength. Joining us in 2016, Carol brings her remarkable journey of resilience and determination to our mission.
Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, Carol’s indomitable spirit led her to unparalleled achievements. In the same year she joined us, Carol won two gold medals at the Rio Paralympics and was named both Australian and Victorian Female Para Cyclist of the Year.
Thanks to Australian and Victorian Government funding, RIAC is currently able to empower communities across 22 local government areas spanning throughout regional Victoria and southern New South Wales.
Carol is not just an Ambassador, she is a motivational speaker and author who inspires us to believe that anything is possible. Through her story, Carol encourages us to face our fears and believe in ourselves, embodying RIAC’s core values of empowerment and advocacy.
Carol’s presence and words inspire us every day, reminding us that with courage and belief, no challenge is too great.
