We are thrilled to share that RIAC recently hosted an event on Friday, 28 July, focused on “The Juggle of Neurodiversity and the Education System.” Our esteemed speaker, Kim Alexander, brought her extensive experience as an educator and advocate for neurodivergent children to shed light on this crucial issue.

Kim Alexander, actively involved in the ADHD and Autism networks and a mother of two ASD and ADHD primary-aged children, shared her personal and professional journey in advocating for neurodiverse children within the education system. Her insights and practical skills gave attendees valuable tools to support and advocate for neurodivergent children effectively.

We want to congratulate Carolyn Maltese, Amanda Robinson, and Lauren Burchell for their exceptional efforts in organising this event. Their dedication and hard work played a significant role in making it a resounding success.

At RIAC, we support and empower individuals with neurodivergent conditions and their families. We are thrilled by the overwhelming success of this event and look forward to organising more sessions in the future, addressing critical topics and providing valuable resources to our community.
