RIAC is at the NDIS Feedback forum today with Bill Shorten (shadow minister for the NDIS) and Lisa Chesters (Member for Bendigo) listening to people’s experiences with the NDIS and NDIA.

We have given Bill Shorten and Lisa Chesters a booklet with feedback from our organisation on behalf of all of our clients, since the roll-out of the NDIS.

Let’s hope they listen!

Snow may be falling in VIC, but strategic planning still forged ahead with RIAC’s board and staff members this weekend.

It was an excellent opportunity for us to revisit and explore our values, mission and strategy for the future.

We will be consulting further with advisory groups to help inform our future planning and ensure that RIAC continues to provide vital individual, systemic and self advocacy to our communities.

It was exciting to see new members to our board, and we would like to thank everyone for their commitment, support and dedication to advocacy.

Please keep an eye out for an invitation to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be posted soon.
