Meet our CEO
From community development, management and chairman roles within the not-for-profit sector, to advocating for people with disabilities on a voluntary basis, Leah is just as likely to be seen in a support group as she is in State Government. Her exceptionally comprehensive career to date, combined with her passion for a unified community enables her to strategically and effectively guide RIAC, of which she has been doing for the past X years, three of which were on the Board.
Meet our Board
Karryn Goode (Chairperson)
With a comprehensive background in the employment services industry, Karryn is currently managing the Victorian Client Service Centre at Goulburn Ovens TAFE. Fuelled by passion for social justice and individual empowerment, Karryn has been a member of our Board since 2012, serving as our Chairperson since October 2015.
Adriano Pati (Vice Chairperson)
Adriano’s community services background combined with his strong passion for equality has seen him serve on our Board since 2010, playing an integral role in our growth and successes to date.
Kathryn Harris – currently on leave
Kathryn is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Chartered Tax Advisor. She has a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Taxation and a Graduate Certificate in Business and Technology. For the last 14 years she has been a partner in a successful accounting firm. Kathryn’s interest in RIAC comes from needing to be an an advocate for her son who has a severe vision impairment. Kathryn brings many years of board experience with her to RIAC as well as substantial financial management skills.
Thomas Kilmartin (Secretary)
Boasting a comprehensive legal career spanning across commercial, property and not-for-profit sectors, with a strong passion for community and learning new languages, Thomas has been on our Board since X. Thomas also currently works at Dawes & Vary Riordan in Shepparton.
Michael Curtis (Director)
Combining an extensive accounting career within the public sector with his own personal experiences, Michael has been on our Board since 2015. His passion for a connected community sees him play a key role in a large number of community groups.
Edmund Wong (Director)
A comprehensive corporate career, both locally and overseas, combined with personal experiences led Edmund to joining our Board in 2016. Currently serving as Vice President of Tax & Accounting at Thomson Reuters, he is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
